Erick Sermon is keeping himself very busy for the next few months. After an eventful 2001, which involved signing a distribution deal with J Records, releasing a solo album and falling out of windows three stories high, but 2002 will prove to to be yet another busy year for the Green-Eyed Bandit. Sermon's Def Squad Records are set to flood the market with a number of releases, including albums from Syheed Scott, Khari Santiago and R&B acts, Seanna & Derrick and Christina. In addition to that, he is working on the new EPMD album, as we reported last week, is 50% completed. More interestingly though, Keith Murray is set to get special treatment for his fourth album, due in the Summer of 2002 on DefJam. Not only will Sermon handle production on that album, we can also expect Dr. Dre and Rockwilder to contribute beats for Murray's solo. Def Squad Records never really had a chance back in the past, hopefully E-Dub can score a few hits with J Records in 2002.
