Treach and Vinnie of Naughty By Nature are to headline the World AIDS Day Youth Rally scheduled to be held at the historic Lincoln Theatre at 12th & U Streets, NW on December 1st. The pair will be performing at the Rally, which is focused to raise awareness amongst local area youth about the HIV/AIDS epidemic and how to prevent infection. The event will take place from 3pm to 6pm. The Rally will spotlight the various talents of area youth in an Apollo Theatre Amateur Show style contest with grand prizes up to $500. Representatives from various local AIDS Service Organizations (ASOs) and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) such as Sasha Bruce, Metro Teen AIDS, Ameri-Core, and SMYLE, will also be featured guests.
In related news, the pair continue to work hard on their new LP, "IIcons". They will return to the studio to record a track titled, "Feels Good" with City High appearing on the track. Y2Hiphop.com has been told that this may be the likely first single from the album. Watch out for that in the near future.
