The Beatnuts have managed to ink theirselves a deal with LandSpeed Records after leaving Loud Records earlier this month. The pair have reformed with Al Tariq to reform the Intoxicated Demons. Watch out for an album sometime next year.
See Also:The Wu-Tang Clan have now decided that their album will be titled "Wu-Tang Iron Flag". The first single from that, "Pinky Ring" (B-Side "Y'all Been Warned") should drop around the same time as the album. Speaking of the Wu, apparently Ghostface had a few words to say on Star & Buckwild's radio show. He made it be known that he wasn't feelin' the electronic/programmed beats that have been plaguing hiphop over the last few years. When asked to name names, the Neptunes popped up out of Ghostface's mouth, but he was quick to show love back by that they are 'doing their own thing'. He also mentioned that Jay-Z's "The Blueprint" was good because of it's production and that the Wu have been doing those type of tracks for years. Watch out for the next single from "Bulletproof Wallets" to be "Ghostshowers". Limp Bizkit's, Fred Durst is hooking up with DJ Premier again, along with DMX for a track that will appear on both the soundtrack for "Undisputed" and also X's Bloodline Compilation. Word is that Suge Knight has added TLC's Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes to the Deathrow rebirth. I guess Ms. Lopes wasn't happy about the way that Arista handled (or should I say mis-handled) her solo album. Finally, it looks like Cappadonna is officially off the Wu. No exact reasons why were given, but expect Cappa to be doing his own thing in 2002 in the form of a new album and the Iron Fist Pillage project.
