Guru will finally release his new compilation album, "Bald Head Slick & The Click" on September 25th. The album will be independantly released on Guru's own Ill Kids Records and will be distributed by Landspeed Records. As mentioned on the site a few weeks back, tracks include "Where's Our Money" and "In Here" feat. Killah Priest, Timbo King and Black Jesus. Producers on the project include DJ Premier, Alchemist, P.F. Cuttin', Pete Rock and DJ Spinna.
See Also:Meanwhile, Gangstarr fans won't have to wait long for new material. As we mentioned before, they have a new joint on the "Training Day" soundtrack and rumour has it that the new Gangstarr LP will be released as early as February. I'll believe that when I see it. Cormega's debut album "The Realness" gained a lot of respect from the industry and the QB star is already working on a new album for January 2002. Expect to see the new album on Cormega's label, Legal Hustle Records and distributed by the fantastic Landspeed Records. In related news, apparently Cormega dropped a freestyle in the US as a reply to Nas' recent "Stillmatic" diss. Let's hope Cormega takes that reply over to the new album and continue to interesting feud.
