De La Soul are currently finishing up the second volume of the Artofficial Intelligence trilogy. The trio, who are currently over here in the UK after attending the Tommy Boy 20th anniversary have already done tracks with B-Real, Cee-Lo of the Goodie Mob and Slick Rick. When they return to the states, they are expected to record that track with Ghostface, which was talked about a few weeks back. They said to expect a single from the album very soon, estimated release of September, with the album expected to drop in October. Following the release of the album, the trio will then go on a tour to help promote it. They will also accompany Common and Pharoahe Monch for this year's Spitkicker tour.

Has Chino XL got himself a label deal finally? He appears on the soundtrack for the new Jet Li film "Kiss Of The Dragon" with a new joint called "What You Got?". The album features mostly artists from Virgin Records and the soundtrack itself is released by Virgin too. Has he signed a deal with Virgin?

Outkast has received so much love this year, that they have decided to release a "Greatest Hits" compilation in time for Christmas. The compilation will also feature five brand new joints to listen to, so it gives Outkast fans a better reason for picking it up. It was decided that it was unrealistic for the duo to release a new album this year, which is why we are getting a Greatest Hits compilation instead. Expect a new album next year.
