As we all already know, Xzibit is currently working on the follow-up to the platinum selling "Restless" and has already done four tracks for the album. Expect more of the same from "Restless" on the new album, titled "Man Vs Machine", with production credits from the likes of Dr. Dre, Rockwilder, Rick Rock and Mel-Man. Xzibit will also have Snoop and Eminem spitting all over his tracks for the new album, which is hoped to be released by the end of the year or the beginning of 2002.
Xzibit also made it clear that he is still cool with The Likwit Crew, but will probably not be appearing on the Likwit Crew album, believing that Tha Liks and himself don't share the same creative interests. Xzibit believe's he's more of a gritty, street type rapper, whilst Tha Liks are more into the party and battle joints. Although this more or less looks like Xzibit wants to de-associate himself with the Likwit crew, we can expect to see the man on Dr. Dre's forthcoming project titled "Detox". So Xzibit fans should need not worry over the lack of new material.
