x-ecutioners

The X-ecutioners are looking good to release their album at the end of August, slight delay again sadly. "Built From Scratch" will feature appearances from the likes of Pharoahe Monch, M.O.P., Inspectah Deck, Linkin Park, The Tom Tom Club, Kenny Muhammad, Dan the Automator, The Beat Junkies, DJ Premier, Xzibit and many more. It will also feature that mysterious collabo cut with Kool G Rap and Big Punisher which we had on the site well over a year ago.

MTV and Columbia Records are to come together to release the soundtrack to the hiphopera, Carmen. The TV soundtrack is expected for release on June 12th.

D-12 will release their brand new single from forthcoming album "Devil's Night", "Purple Pills" on June 5th. The full album follows on June 19th.

It's looking like Kool G Rap is really making an effort to make "The Giacana Story" his biggest release ever. The man has now enlisted the vocals of R.E.M's Michael Stipe for the new album on a track called "Called Onez". The eagerly anticipated album is expected to hit stores in July on Rawkus Records. Look out for that.
