-Grand Agent's "Grand Right Now" is the next single from the North Philly emcee's lp "By Design", on Groove Attack. This will be his first solo video, and Chops's second production to have a video (the first was Mountain Brothers' "Galaxies", seen on MTV, The Box, and MuchMusic). Grand's video was recently shot in Brooklyn by director Chezik. So be on the lookout! The album also features production by Hi Tek, Lord Finesse, Kutmasta Kurt, and others...

The title song is a drum n' bass cut featuring vocals by Chops and Bahamadia. -Japanese producer DJ Tonk, who has worked with a number of Japanese and American hip-hop artists including Sadat X, Cocoa Brovas, Afu-Ra, and others, has finished tracking a new joint featuring Chops and Zion of Zion I. -Eccentric emcee/entrepreneur/disc jockey/lover of Kool Keith's ass, Princess Superstar recently finished recording a song with UK Grammy-winning folk/trip-hop artist Beth Orton, production by Chops! As for the Mountain Brothers... -Mountain Brothers are in high gear, back in the studio working on their next Chops-produced album, the followup to the critically-acclaimed "Self, Vol. 1", coming this fall.
