The long awaited studio release The Sneak Attack by BLASTMASTER KRS ONE debuted at #2 on the Independent Soundscan Chart selling 31,000 units its first week in stores.

The album also debuted at #9 on the Billboard R&B Chart and #43 on the Billboard Top 200.

KRS ONE's current single "Hot" is also receiving great radio play. The video is also in current rotation at BET.

KRS ONE will be a part of a number of events including the International Hiphop Conference for Peace at the United Nations on Wednesday, May 16.
