LL Cool J is out to top "the greatest of all time." The tireless rapper/actor will enter the studio later this month to begin work on the follow-up to G.O.A.T Featuring James T. Smith: The Greatest of All Time. The as-yet-untitled album should be in stores in September or October, LL told MTV.com.

"It's a crazy party song," LL said of the track, which he recorded with Ruff Ryders producer Swizz Beatz. "Put Your Hands Up" is one of the album's three initial singles, along with Busta Rhymes' "What It Is Right Now," featuring Kelis, and Noreaga's "Grimey," which were both produced by the Neptunes. The compilation is tentatively due July 10. LL's new comedy "Kingdom Come," about a dysfunctional family gathered together for a funeral, arrived in theaters Wednesday. The flick co-stars Whoopi Goldberg, Toni Braxton, Jada Pinkett Smith and Vivica A. Fox. The rapper will also resurface on the big screen in this summer's "Rollerball," a remake of the 1975 action-thriller.
