Rage Against the Machine has another option for its vacant fromntman position in the form of Cypress Hill rapper B-Real.

"If they call me, I’m down," the rapper told MTV.com. "Hell yeah, that would be a dream to front them. That’s like today’s Led Zeppelin."

B-Real said he jammed with Rage guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Timmy C. and drummer Brad Wilk once, "just vibing it out" on a rendition of Cypress Hill’s "How I Could Just Kill a Man." Rage covered the song for last year’s Renegades, their final album with singer Zack de la Rocha, who left the band in October.

"I told them, ‘Hey, if you guys want, I’m here,’" B-Real said. "If not, it’s all good."

"But I think they’re going to take it in another direction. ... I’m sure whatever they do is gonna be great with whoever they go with. I just hope they keep making music."

The remaining Rage members are in a Los Angeles-area studio with Chris Cornell, the former frontman for Soundgarden. Bassist Timmy C. told San Jose, California, radio station KSJO-FM last month that they’ve formed a new group with Cornell, which will not be called Rage Against the Machine.

Meanwhile, B-Real is in the studio with his Cypress Hill mates recording their sixth album. "So far the material that we have we’re really, really excited about," he said. "It feels good right now. We’ve got our chemistry going on."
