It seems that the Puff Daddy/Shyne relationship has taken a turn for the worse. Shyne has told newspapers that he didn't like the way Puff lied his way out of trouble during the six week case where Puffy was found innocent and Shyne facing time behind bars. Shyne claims that Puff somehow managed to get one of the club bouncers to lie in the court room to help him get off any charges. He also claims that BadBoy Records didn't help at all with his legal costs and that he had to pay all the bills with the cash he received in advance for his new album. Shyne now wants to break all relationships with BadBoy following this entire trial. Although, he may not have any choice in the matter anyway.
See Also:Shyne was convicted on 4 out of 5 charges which were against him and is facing up to a maximum sentence of 25 years imprisonment. His fate will be sealed come April 16th. If put behind bars for a long period, it is expected that Arista will drop Shyne from the label. Shyne had been recording a new album prior to the verdict but only managed to complete 10 tracks and with no video made, expect the whole project to be scrapped.
