Southern California concert promotion company, Goldenvoice will present the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, April 28, 2001 in Indio, California. Over 35,000 music lovers are expected at this year's festival, which will feature a wide gamut of modern musical tastes encompassed in rock, hip-hop, and electronic genres.

Coachella will take place at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA. Gates open at noon. Tickets go on sale March 3 at noon and will be available through all Ticketmaster outlets and at http://www.ticketmaster.com. The last Coachella Festival brought a unique non-traditional flavor to American music festivals, modeling itself after its European counterparts.
