Eminem pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon. The exchange for the plea is the omission of a concurrent felony count for assault with a deadly weapon. He is on trial in Mount Clemens, MI for pistol-whipping a man he saw kissing his wife outside a bar in Warren, MI on June 4. Probation officials have to give a pre-sentence report and recommendation on the charge. It carries a sentence of up to five years. If Eminem doesn't like the choice he can withdraw his plea and the case will go to trial. If he accepts the recommendation he will be sentenced April 10th. Prosecutor Karl Marlinga is seeking jail time for him but Em's lawyers will request probation.
