A week or so ago, we reported that Royce The 5'9 had switched labels to Columbia Records. This is only partially true, it now appears that Royce's current management label, Game Recordings has inked a distribution deal with Columbia Records. Royce should now get an OFFICIAL single onto the streets in the Spring, whilst the album should be release by the end of Summer, beginning of Autumn.
It seems that one of my favourite rap artist's is finally getting a break of good luck. Apparently, Keith Murray is to be released a few months early after serving over two years of a three year prision sentence following the barstool incident back in 1995. The reason for the possible early release is due to Murray dropping an appeal trial over the senetence. It's also been said that Murray has been behaving himself whilst behind bars. Let's hope he get's out sooner than later.
