News is that the Dilated Peoples are already starting work on a brand new album. Beats, Rhymes & Life reports that 2 or 3 cuts for the album have already been completed. Good news for the groups fans, hopefully we'll see a retaliation to Eminem on that one.
In related news, their current album "The Platform" will be re-released with the Erick Sermon produced remix of "The Platform".
Interscope Records are to release the brand new album from Eminem's D-12 on March 20th. The album "Devil's Night" will feature the cut "I'll Shit On You". Watch out for Eminem to feature heavily on this album.
The veteran duo, Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith were reported to be working on a brand new album according to UK based radio station, Choice FM. A couple of cuts have already been done for the new album, along with a track with Big Daddy Kane! More news on this as I hear it.
Apparently, Nas has signed a management deal with Chris Lighty's Violator Records. The deal shouldn't affect Nas' relationship with Columbia Records as Violator are under Loud Records who are distributed by Columbia. Violator will now help with the promotion of Nas' forthcoming album "Stillmatic" which will drop at the end of the year. Look out for that one.
