Reports of Eminem's weekend demise are false. The rapper was the subject of a sick internet hoax this past weekend, with reputable news agencies running a story that the rapper had been killed in a car crash.
MTV reported that Eminem had been killed in a car crash en route to a party, after the rental car that he was driving swerved off the road and crashed into roadside cars. MTV's website reportedly claimed to have a photograph of the accident and eyewitness accounts of the tragedy.
It appears that the reports started as a hoax email and the rapper's record company have been quick to stress that there is absolutely no truth to the story.
