Matt Grant has defended his fiancé Shayne Dahl Lamas and her photo spread in the June issue of Girls Gone Wild magazine. Lamas, 22, is featured in several provocative poses but the photos show no nudity. The pictures sparked media speculation that Lamas was using Grant to boost her acting career.

“As we English say, I really feel it was ‘a storm in a teacup.’ I believe it was blown out of all proportion. I stand by Shayne 110 percent,” Grant says. “We sit down together and just laugh off all the ridiculous stories that get thrown out way. All things considered we are doing really well.”

Grant and Lamas were engaged on last season of ‘The Bachelor: London Calling.’
