Thanks to recording technology, country’s greatest artists continue to reward their fans even after their passing, and the careers of Hall of Fame members Tammy Wynette, Marty Robbins and Eddy Arnold are being marked with great reverence.

The airplay was enough to launch him onto the Billboard Country Songs chart, giving Eddy at least one debut on that list in each of seven different decades, dating back to 1945. "This would be an absolute thrill for him," said Eddy’s grandson, Shannon Pollard, "as it was his last wish to have another hit song." Meanwhile, Shout! Factory and the Hall of Fame are preparing Legendary Performances DVDs featuring Tammy Wynette and Marty Robbins for release Aug. 19. Both sets include 15 vintage TV performances from such shows as the CMA Awards, "Pop Goes The Country," "Town Hall Party," "The Bill Anderson Show" and "Country Music Hit Parade." In addition, each DVD includes an interview and footage of their Hall of Fame inductions. Among the highlights in Tammy’s release are TV versions of "Your Good Girl’s Gonna Go Bad," "D-I-V-O-R-C-E" and "Stand By Your Man," plus four duets with former husband George Jones. Marty’s disc collects renditions of "El Paso," "Devil Woman," "Don’t Worry" and "Among My Souvenirs." Tammy joined the Hall of Fame posthumously in 1998, though she was told of her induction before she passed away. Marty was enshrined in 1982, and Eddy became a member in 1966. Related Videos:
