Fantasia Barrino stole the show on the season 7 results episode of "American Idol" on Wednesday.

Fantasia, who won "Idol" during season 3 in 2004, came back as a guest star and graced the stage with her new song "Bore Me". Barrino's performance trumped the contestants on Wednesday, especially that of Syesha Mercado, who was eliminated on the show last night.

Fantasia had delved into acting in recent months. She finished the world-renowned play "The Color Purple," but she said she is returning to her music. "I'm working on an album right now and getting ready to go back on tour," Barrino told "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest. "I miss my music."
