Dolly Parton has announced she will release her latest album next month.
The 62-year-old US country star's much anticipated Backwoods Barbie, out on June 9, will be her 41st album.
Dolly said: "The song Backwoods Barbie pretty much says it all. I grew up poor and ragged, always dreamed of being beautiful like Barbie and the models in the Fredericks catalogue.
"It's true that the way I look is just a country girl's idea of glamour, but it comes from an honest place. Backwoods Barbie just seemed like such a perfect title for a country album for me."
Backwoods Barbie is also one of the songs from 9 To 5 The Musical, which Dolly also wrote all the words and music for, and is expected to open on Broadway next spring.
The Love Is Like A Butterfly singer is embarking on another world tour with the European leg beginning in Stockholm, Sweden, on June 13. Dolly will then perform in Denmark, Norway, Holland, Ireland and the UK, culminating with two shows at London's O2 Arena on July 5 and 6.
She said: "I had a great time when we were in Europe last tour and I expect to have even more fun on the up and coming tour. I can't wait to see all the fans again. We have a lot of new songs from my new CD, Backwoods Barbie, and a lot of fun things for everybody. Get ready cause here I come again!"
