IndyCar driver Danica Patrick hit a member of Dale Coyne’s crew on pit road. Witnesses say Charles Buckman was on pit road looking for another driver when he was hit by Patrick’s car.

Buckman was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was being treated for facial and scap lacerations and a concussion. Patricks crew helped her out of her car and took her from the scene.

Officials closed the track and say it will remain closed for the rest of the day.
