Friends of Scarlett Johansson have been weighing in on her recent engagement to Ryan Reynolds. Designer Roland Mouret has been a longtime pal of the actresses and says that marriage is something she really wanted.

“I was just so happy when she told me [about her engagement]. It’s something she’s really wanted – to meet someone and get married,” Mouret told People magazine. “She’s just such a great person and I’m so happy for her and wish her every happiness. She deserves it.”

 

Meanwhile, Mouret says he isn’t in the running to make Johansson’s wedding gown. Stella McCartney has made it clear that she would love to design the gown.
