Yung Joc recently inked a one-off deal with Jive Records for his Swagg Team imprint, with hopes of a label situation in the near future.
Via the deal, Joc will release the single, "Lookin' Boy," by Chicago trio Hotstylz, with an accompanying video.
The trio created a buzz online with the comedic track, "Lookin' A$$ N****," and now the remixed, radio-friendly version featuring Joc, which has already been serviced to radio.
The video is set to premiere on BET on May 17.
If enough interest is garnered by the single, Joc hopes his can parlay its success into a label deal for Swagg Team, where he will release Hotstylz' debut album.
Yung Joc's last release, his sophomore album, Hustlenomics, dropped in August 2007. To date, it's sold just 197,000 copies nationally.
The rapper is also in the process of launching a new line of sunglasses called Claudio St. James. Joc will partner with his father to release the new collection of shades independently.
