After actress Lindsay Lohan attended an event in New York on Jan. 26, she was spotted wearing a blond mink coat that had been reported missing by a fellow party-goer.

Columbia University college student Masha Markova says she wore the distinctive $11,000 mink coat, a gift from her grandmother, to a private event at 10ak. Markova says she was seated next to Lohan during the party and only discovered at the end of the evening that the coat was missing.

Markova reported weeks passed before she spotted publicity photographs of Lohan wearing the mink coat. After attorneys for Markova contacted representatives for the actress, Markova says she received word from 10ak that her coat had been found.

Markova claims Lohan owes her $10,000 for use of the coat during the three weeks it was ‘missing.’
