John Mayer has refused to reveal details about his romance with Jennifer Aniston. The 30-year-old singer was asked about his new love at the Costume Institute Gala in New York. “Listen, this is not a scandal, this is not an issue, this is not a problem, this needs no spin control,” he replied.

As for the steamy pictures of the 39-year-old actress in her bikini, Mayer says he can’t “fault” the photographer for taking them. “…and I don’t fault him, I don’t fault anybody, I don’t fault you, I don’t fault this or that,” he said. “There are much worse problems in the world. Everything’s cool!”

Aniston and Mayer were first linked two weeks ago after they were spotted having dinner together in Miami. Sources say the singer has sent Aniston flowers everyday since their first date.
