Britney Spears headed to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana on Friday to help her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears celebrate the upcoming birth of her first child. Jamie Lynn, 17, announced her pregnancy last December. Sources say she is having a baby girl.

Nearly 30 guests attended the shower at the Spears’ Serenity Mansion.

 

“Jamie Lynn opened every gift. We all sat in a circle and she opened gifts and thanked every person. It was just a good old-fashioned baby shower,” says an insider.

 

Spears and her fiancée Casey Aldridge registered for baby gifts at Babies “R” Us.
