Millencolin

Long-running Swedish pop-punk outfit Millencolin will release their seventh studio album, Machine 15, on May 6 through Epitaph.

Lou Giordano (Treble Charger, The Ataris), who worked with Millencolin on 2002's Home From Home, produced the new album. Michael Ilbert, who has worked with fellow Swedes The Hives, mixed the follow-up to 2005's Kingwood in Berlin, Germany.

Lead single "Detox," "Brand New Game" and "Danger For Stranger" can be heard on Millencolin's MySpace page.

"I think it's great," guitarist Mathias Farm says of Machine 15. "It's different from what we've done before and we're stoked."

Farm, guitarist Erik Ohlsson and vocalist/bassist Nikola Sarcevic formed Millencolin in 1992. Fredrik Larzon took over from Farm on drums the next year, allowing him to become the band's second guitarist. They've sold two million records worldwide.

Millencolin have European dates scheduled through early July.
