Jessica Simpson has praised her boyfriend Tony Romo for making her feel comfortable with herself again. “He made me feel comfortable (being myself) again. We got to know each other by talking, which it think it the best way,” Simpson says of the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

Simpson and Romo began dating last Thanksgiving. The 27-year-old, who was previously married to Nick Lachey, says that she was pleasantly surprised that Romo wanted to kiss her in public on their first date.

“I said, ‘We’re you just trying to kiss me in front of all these people?’ I was taken aback by someone wanting to kiss me in public. Because normally people are ashamed,” Simpson reveals. “This article could come out and Tony and I could be broke up but he still deserves all the accolades for bringing me back to who I am.”
