*The American Association of Retired Persons [AARP] will mark its 50th anniversary in June with “Songs of Soul and Inspiration,” a concert featuring such artists as Queen Latifah and Chaka Khan honoring the musical legacy of the black church.
Others booked to perform include Dionne Warwick, Patti Austin, Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, Jamia, CeCe Winans, The Fire Choir and Ann Nesby appearing with her granddaughter Paris Bennett.
Debbie Allen will direct the evening, which is scheduled to take place June 21 at The Philips Arena in Atlanta.

Tickets are on sale to the general public, while AARP members can use a special code to receive a discount.
