Professional dancer Derek Hough, from the reality show "Dancing With the Stars," has apologized for ranting and raving after low scores last week. In a taped segment that the ABC show ran, Hough and dancing partner Shannon Elizabeth are seen and heard being upset with their low scores and remarks by the judges.
During the ranting session Elizabeth broke down in tears and said she did have hip action, which the judges said she didn't, and Hough claimed the judges shouldn't penalize them when they are ignoring things the other contestants are doing. "Are you kidding me," Hough said, looking into the camera.
Hough has now apologized to the other contestants, and to his fans, saying he was caught up in the moment and became very heated. He said after speaking with the other contestants, most of them said he only said what they had all been thinking.
Hough and Elizabeth, who are rumored to be a real-life team as well as team on the dance floor, attended Elizabeth's movie premiere of "Deal" in Las Vegas Thursday night. After the movie premiere, the dancing partners dined at Palms' N9NE Steakhouse.
