Jennifer Aniston is reported to be dating singer John Mayer after the two of them were spotted having lunch together recently, People.com reports.

The pair went to a Miami restaurant on Friday and then had dinner later that night.

The report claims that Michael's Genuine Food & Drink restaurant in Miami welcomed the pair for lunch even though it was officially closed to the public when they arrived. Charles Bell, general manager of the restaurant, said: "I was happy to accommodate them."

"I can't speculate on what kind of meeting it was but they looked happy and seemed to have a great time," he said.

Later on Friday the pair reportedly dined at Casa Tua, leaving together just before 1 a.m.

Patrons said that Mayer had his arm around Aniston as they left the restaurant.

According to the report, the pair were later spotted holding hands as they returned to Aniston's hotel.
