Carmen Electra showed off her new diamond engagement ring Thursday night at the Dos Equis party. The actress was recently engaged to guitarist Rob Patterson, 37.

“It’s a black diamond. Different – it’s out style,” she tells People. “We are so happy. This is a really happy time for both of us.”

This is Electra’s third marriage. The 36-year-old was previously married to NBA star Dennis Rodman and rocker Dave Navarro.

“This relationship is different that the others. It’s so special. We both feel it’s an important thing right now, and we want to keep everything special, so we’re keeping everything secret for now,” says Electra.

She adds that a wedding date has not been set. Electra says she and Patterson want to “take our time and really enjoy being together.”
