Foxy Brown

Foxy Brown dodged another bullet that could have sent her right back to the big house, after accepting a plea deal in Broward County court yesterday (April 24)

According to the Associated Press, Foxy (born Inga Marchand) accepted a deal from the state of Florida that allowed her to avoid jail time in a case involving her getting into an altercation at a Pembroke Pines beauty supply store last year. Fox Boogie will be now placed on six months probation and will have to perform 15 hours of community service in addition to paying court costs and fines.

The deal comes on the heels of the rapper's lawyer resigning, as Foxy tried to seal the plea deal on her own without the help of her attorney. In light of the incident, the judge had given Fox two weeks to find new representation and was scheduled to be back in court on May 8.
