Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey feels as much pressure to stay in shape as Hollywood’s leading ladies, and often compares himself to his own hot co-stars.

The married father-of-three admits it is a struggle not to let the pressure of body-conscious Hollywood get to him.

The actor, 42, says, "I’m not (Grey’s Anatomy co-star) Eric Dane. He is in perfect shape. I definitely have pec envy. There’s a lot of pressure being a man in this town."

He adds, "People are seeing a fantasy. It’s not necessarily me, but it does help your ego. Look, I know TV is a visual medium, so of course I want to be in shape, but I don’t want to be ripped.

"I let my wife know that I’m sexy all the time."
