teve-O has appeared in an Los Angeles courtroom and pleaded not guilty to a felony cocaine possession charge on Wednesday.

The Jackass star has entered his plea through his lawyer Barry Sands. The preliminary hearing is set for May 13. The court will decide then if there's enough evidence to warrant a trial.

The daredevil had said to the reporters after the proceeding that he's now been dealing with his alcohol and drug addictions.

He is quoted by E! news as saying, "I've been clean for 44 days."

Steve-O, born Stephen Glover, was busted on March 3 at his Hollywood apartment complex on suspicion of vandalism and drug possession.

He had checked into UCLA for psychiatric treatment after he had posted $20,000 bail for his release from jail.
