With 25 days left until the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards, the lineup for the show continues to grow. Four artists were announced yesterday as performers, including Brooks & Dunn, whose 24 victories in the past make them the most-honored act in ACM history.
Trace Adkins, fresh off his role in The Celebrity Apprentice, will likewise sing during the ceremony, which will also feature Montgomery Gentry and Miranda Lambert. In addition, Montgomery Gentry will host the annual charity motorcycle ride in Las Vegas the day before the May 18 telecast.
Those artists join previously announced performers Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Rodney Atkins. Reba McEntire is set to host the ACM awards for the 10th time in her career, live from the MGM Grand on CBS.
