British rockers Coldplay are taking part in a brave new promotional scheme for their new album - they are giving away their tracks for free with a U.K.

magazine.

The Yellow hitmakers are due to release their highly anticipated fourth album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends in June.

But the band have decided to give fans the chance to own a preview CD by giving it away with music publication NME.

The 7-inch vinyl, containing two new songs, will appear as a covermount on the forthcoming 7 May (08) issue.
