Security at Saturday’s New York Comic Con was on high alert - to prevent the release of exclusive new The Dark Knight scenes.

The new trailer for the much-anticipated blockbuster was previewed at the comic book convention, and security guards were employed to patrol the packed screening room to make sure no one was stealing grabs.

News of late star Heath Ledger’s scene-stealing bodybag moment had already leaked onto the internet before the trailer screening.

Movie insiders stated that, despite the gasps from fans when Ledger appeared to fake The Joker’s death, there were no plans to edit the scene out of the final cut.
