Bill Keller, host of Live Prayer, is taking on talk show host Oprah Winfrey. Keller, who has been dubbed the Dr. Phil of Prayer and writes a daily Internet devotion that is received by nearly 2.5 million subscribers, believes Oprah is starting her own cult.

Keller believes that Oprah's interest in New Age teachings is causing her to have a cult-like following that is leading people away from teachings in the Bible. "I believe these New Age teachings are like 'spiritual crack' because people are hungry, the teachings satisfy and then they are hungry again," Keller told Celebrity News Service.

Keller said he became worried about Oprah about seven years ago when he saw her shifting from being an entertainer to promoting New Age beliefs. He said she is using her vast media empire to lead people away from Christ.

"She has an incredible amount of influence over people and an incredible following," Keller said. "Oprah claims to be a Christian but she then adds that there are many roads to God, and as an evangelist I believe the Bible is the only truth and the Bible teaches that the only way to God is through Christ."

Keller currently has a high tech debate on YouTube that is being watched by thousands of viewers daily. The video shows Keller asking questions in a debate format, and it uses clips of Oprah giving her own explanations about how she gave up her faith and embarked on her New Age beliefs.

Keller told Celebrity News Service that at this point most people are afraid to challenge Oprah because of her following and her power, but that over the next six months he believes more people will begin to question her teachings.
