The 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards are exactly one month away, but Rascal Flatts already knows it'll go home a winner that night. The ACM has tabbed the trio - Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney - as the recipient of the ACM/Home Depot Humanitarian Award.

"The most rewarding thing for us is the opportunity to give back to our communities." The Humanitarian Award affords them yet another opportunity to do that. A playground will be built in the city of the Flatts' choice by the non-profit organization KaBOOM!, in conjunction with The Home Depot. Rascal Flatts contributes regularly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and serves on the celebrity board of the American Red Cross. The band has also raised $2.2 million from its Nashville concerts for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Previous ACM Humanitarian winners include Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn, Neal McCoy, Vince Gill, Lonestar and Martina McBride.
