Will Smith has ventured into a new music video business. His company, Overbrook Entertainment, has announced a collaboration with a new music video website called Pluggedin.com.
According to a press release, the actor/musician's company is "investing both its capital and resources into PluggedIn's groundbreaking consumer experience."
Guy Primus, Overbrook's Head of Interactive Media, says, "The experience that the PluggedIn team has created is truly world-class."
"The fact that they've built all of this to be replicated across entertainment categories is even more remarkable, and we look forward to working with them on a variety of initiatives."
Jeff Somers, PluggedIn CEO, adds, "We're focused on building a unique experience for fans - a place where they can meet and interact with each other, and where they can enjoy, discover and share premium quality video content."
The website features over 10,000 major label music videos and 1 million artist profiles. It offers free streaming to consumers and HD and broadcast quality videos.
