Marrisa Jaret Winokur is dancing her way across the ballroom floor on "Dancing With the Stars," but she may keep right on dancing into living rooms long after Dancing ends. Winokur is being tapped to star in a daytime talk show.
According to Variety, Winokur, who won a Tony for playing Tracy Turnblad in the Broadway version of "Hairspray," has signed a deal to star in a talk show. Winokur has developed a growing fan base thanks to her exposure on "Dancing With the Stars."
Marie Osmond, another "Dancing With the Stars" alum has also announced she will have a talk show of her own. Both talk shows are targeted for fall 2009.
Winokur's other television credits include a series regular role in FOX's Pam Anderson show "Stacked" and a voice role in ABC's "Shrek the Halls" holiday special.
