Mexican singer Emilio Navaira is no longer in a critical condition after he was seriously injured in a bus crash.
The Tejano singer has been fighting for his life in a Texas hospital after a tourbus he was driving collided with traffic barrels on a Houston highway last month.
The 45-year-old stunned medical staff by waking from a coma just days after they told his family to expect the worst.
And now officials at Memorial-Hermann-Texas Medical Center have announced that Navaira’s condition has improved from critical to fair - doctors are now optimistic the star will make a full recovery.
