A free music video website, backed by movie star Will Smith, launched on Wednesday.

The I Am Legend star is one of the financial backers of PluggedIn.com, which boasts 10,000 high-quality promos and live performances from top artists.

The new site is backed by three of the leading music giants, Universal Music Group, EMI Music and Sony Music.
