Gwyneth Paltrow suffered post-partum depression following the birth of her two-year-old son Moses.
The actress, who is married to rocker Chris Martin, makes the revelation in the May issue of Vogue magazine.
Following the birth of her son a year ago, Paltrow explains, "I felt really out of my body. I felt really disconnected. I felt really down… I felt pessimistic."
But she claims she didn't realize she had a problem, until she had recovered - and she believes her mini-depression came about because she stopped undergoing acupuncture while she was pregnant.
Paltrow has another child with Martin, daughter Apple, who turns four next month.
