Hot off the press this week Beyoncé might be calling it quits, Alicia Keys backtracks on her conspiracy theory, Chilli still has the hots for Usher, and Faith's finally ready to fess up.
Either Beyoncé has finally tired of the overexposure, or marriage and babies have become her top priority. According to the NY Daily News the recently wed singer plans to make her next album her last in order to go work for her hubby:
Beyonce's cousin, Angelica Knowles claims that the current album B is working on will be her last, as she plans to instead work as a talent scout for Jay's new label, The Carter Music Group.
Some chick named Chelsea Thomas is reportedly going to be her first protégé.
Rebel Talking... Talk about Cater 2 U.
Alicia Keys' squeaky clean image took a major hit this week. The usually charming superstar was branded a militant conspiracy theorist for making some funky comments in Blender magazine about gangster rap and the deaths of rappers Tupac and Biggie. In an attempt to clean things up Keys phoned in to Ryan Seacrest's LA radio show "On Air With Ryan" to explain herself. [Listen Here]
According to Miss Alicia there was a bit of breakdown in communication and her words were misinterpreted.
"What I was saying was the term gangsta rap was so oversloganized during that time and in so many ways people and the government could have done so much more to obliterate and eradicate what the artists were talking about that they lived with every day."
She added that her only aim is to "uplift and to spread love" and noted that her past positive comments haven't gotten nearly the same attention as this conspiracy theorist business.
Rebel Talking... Keep it gangsta Alicia. Power to the people!
Always & Forever
Tameka Foster-Raymond is probably somewhere in Atlanta throwing a tantrum over the comments Usher's ex-flame, Chilli, recently made. In an interview with blogger Necole b*tchie, the TLC songstress confessed her undying love for Ush.
"Usher is the one that I truly did love. Like that was truly my first adult love. I love him very much and I will always love him. I don't know how you love someone that deeply and just stop loving them. I'm not in love with him anymore but I can't say that I don't love him anymore. And of course I do want him to be happy and all but me and him had what I never had in any of my other relationships, and that was chemistry."
Rebel Talking ... Well, well, well. Bet Tameka wishes Chilli would've kept that confession to herself.
Write 'Em Up
After letting Tupac, Biggie and Ray-J have their say, Faith has finally decided to come clean her damn self, with a rumored memoir in the works. The bio, which will reportedly be titled Keep the Faith promises to spill the beans on her relationships with Biggie, Tupac and Diddy.
"KEEP THE FAITH is Faith Evan's first person account of life at ground zero of hip-hop's greatest generation. She'll share the truth about the love affair that changed her life, and the innuendo that rocked the hip-hop world to its core. From her passionate and tragically short-lived life with Biggie, Faith will finally lay the true story on the line. We'll get to see the good, the bad and the ugly side of P. Diddy; nobody knew either quite as well as Faith."
Rebel Talking... If she's willing to compare Big and Pac in the sack, reveal Diddy is a butt-pirate and be real about what's been up her nose, this could outsell Superhead.
But while you were wondering who golden showered R.Kelly's hair we had to ask who taught Khia how to spell and why Steve Harvey thinks he's too sexy for his shirt.
