First daughter Jenna Bush opens up about her upcoming wedding to fiancé Henry Hager, which will take place in Texas instead of at the White House. The daughter of President and Mrs. Bush said she and her future husband thought about getting married in the White House but decided they are far less glamorous than the White House.
In an upcoming issue of Vogue, Jenna said that since she was raised in Texas it just feels right to get married there. She also said it means a lot to Henry and her to get married outdoors in a wedding that is organic and low key.
She did say she considered the White House but added that it really wasn't her personality because of all the glamour.
The Texas wedding will take place May 10 and due to Texas temperatures, which could run high, the ceremony will not commence until 7:30 pm, after the sun goes down. Dinner and dancing underneath a tent will follow.
Jenna's twin sister, Barbara, will serve as maid of honor.
