Former ‘American Idol’ contestant Kellie Pickler ruled the CMT Awards last night. The 21-year-old took home three awards for her song “I Wonder.”

Taylor Swift presented Pickler with the breakthrough video of the year award. Although Pickler wasn’t there to accept her award she appeared via satellite and thanked American Idol for launching her music career. “Thank you ‘American Idol,’ you are the rocket that launched my career,” Pickler said.

She also won tearjerker video and performance of the year.
