The last year has been a tough one for Joe Nichols; he spent time in rehab in the fall, and his wife suffered a miscarriage a few months back.
With those troubles in his rearview mirror, he's particularly pleased with the performance of his latest single, "It Ain't No Crime," which has found its way into the Top 20.
"I just think it's a good-feelin' song," he told Dial-Global, explaining why it's connected so strongly with the audience. "It's a great groove, and a lot of people share the same sentiment about the way to live their life: 'I'm gonna live how I'm gonna live, and if it ain't hurtin' nobody, then get off my back about it.' I think a lot of people say that. I know I've said it before, and I believe that."
"It Ain't No Crime" is the fastest-rising single in Joe's career.
